Cheryl Hochberg, 2022

New Jersey based artist Cheryl Hochberg spent a week in Laramie during September 2022. Hochberg worked with students from the University of Wyoming’s School of Art printmaking program to install the work she created specifically for the I-80 underpass over the City of Laramie’s Greenbelt.
Hochberg created the bison and butterfly design using a method of wood relief printing. The work is wheat pasted to the underpass.
This project was made possible by a collaboration between Laramie Public Art Coalition and the University of Wyoming School of Art and funding from the City of Laramie’s Parks and Recreation Department.
