Sunset at the Oasis

The four-sided mural illustrates the unobstructed landscape in each direction seen at dusk. The silhouetted pronghorn and ferruginous hawk change with the scene.
Each wall features a significant celestial event, with the stars and planets aligned to a specific equinox or solstice.
The north wall features the December 2020 solstice, known as The Great Conjunction. Jupiter and Saturn appeared to overlap, which can be seen on the far right side of the mural.
The east wall is the spring equinox 2021; the south wall shows summer solstice 2021; and the west wall is fall equinox 2021.
