Creative Aging - Intro to Wheel Throwing with Alex Ewing
An introduction to wheel throwing and the ceramic process. Participants will have the opportunity to explore their creativity as they shape, glaze, and fire their own clay vessels.
This program will be wrapped up with a Community Soup Dinner featuring ceramic pieces created during this course.
This will be an 8-week course, meeting on Wednesdays from 2 - 4 PM from January 15th - March 5th in Siren Studios at LPCC.
***Participants must be age 55+ to participate.***

Space is limited to 6 participants. Please only register if you can commit to all 8 weeks of the class.

About the artist -
Alex Ewing is a Wyoming-based potter whose work reflects a connection to place and tradition, drawing inspiration from the beauty of the natural world. His pieces are primarily functional, wheel-thrown stoneware, designed to be used and enjoyed in daily life.
