  • Gryphon Theatre 710 East Garfield Street Laramie, WY, 82070 United States (map)

Everyone is invited to hear about the finalist artworks for the new rotation of the Snowy Range Rotating Sculpture Program! The artists will tell us about their work and participants will be able to provide feedback to aid in the selection of the next round of artwork for our community!

Free popcorn and lemonade will be available for attendees.

About the Snowy Range Rotating Sculpture Program:
Laramie Public Art Coalition (LPAC) and the City of Laramie are seeking two existing artworks for the Snowy Range Rotating Sculpture Program. This is the second rotation of the program. Two sculpture pads exist on the Snowy Range viaduct, a connector between the east side of Laramie to the west side of the city. The sculpture pads are a gateway to the city, welcoming visitors and residents to Downtown as well as a gateway to all points west.

Two existing artworks will be selected for this rotation, to be temporarily installed from August 2024 to summer 2027. The artwork will be on loan to the City of Laramie for the duration. The ideal artwork will be eye-catching from a distance and speak to the community as a welcoming and creative place.
